About me :)

Hi, I'm Anya! I studied a 4 year Bachelor’s in design at IE University, but I’ve never really worked within just one discipline. My work moves between product, spatial, graphic, 3D modelling & animating, editorial and systems thinking—whatever the idea calls for. Alongside design, I’m also an artist. It’s a more personal space where I explore imagination freely, without structure or rules. I was born and raised in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, and have lived between Mexico, France, and Spain. That mix—coast, desert, color, and contrast—still shapes how I see and create. I’m drawn to children’s books and storytellers like Dr. Seuss—worlds that don’t fully explain themselves, but still make perfect sense. Color plays a big role in my work, especially the bold, fearless palettes I grew up around. The landscapes, plants, and animals of Mexico are always there, even in the most playful or surreal pieces, grounding them in something real. Music is also one of my constants. I carry it with me everywhere, and it quietly shapes how I work—setting the mood, and sometimes the direction entirely. Anyways, I hope you enjoy it - or at the very least, feel something in it xx.
